create a bathroom oasis

The existing bathroom is dark, the materials are outdated and the footprint is very disjointed. There is not a lot of useful storage and the existing shower is small and mundane. The homeowner wants a bathroom that feels like a retreat, has an open plan, but also a delineation of spaces and a shower with all the bells and whistles.

solution

By reconfiguring the layout of the bathroom, we were able to maximize storage (custom cabinetry) and the overall room size, create a more open plan, and a separate toilet room for privacy. We added new windows to bring more natural light into the shower area and the main bathroom. We strategically located the shower in a prime location, so that it could be featured with high-end fittings.
